Further Information
After
championing The Feeling's "Sewn", BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris
Moyles went on to use the groups second release, "Fill My
Little World", as the theme tune to his Breakfast Show. To
celebrate the release of Twelve Stops and Home, the
band's record company, Universal Island, took 120 British
music journalists on the Eurostar to Paris for the day,
where the band performed live in a restaurant. This was in
recognition of the fact the band took their name from a
Parisian bar name.
The
single 'Sewn' reached number 7 in the UK charts in March
2006, followed by a number 10 hit 'Fill My Little World' in
May 2006. This release spent 4 consecutive week at #16 and
outsold the bands debut. 'Never Be Lonely' was released in
August that year and became their third top ten hit, peaking
at #9, where it stayed for 2 weeks.
They
were featured at many of the summer music festivals,
including T In The Park, V Festival and Oxegen Festival.
They also played at the Jesus May Ball on 19 June 2006.
